On October 5th of this year, we had the pleasure of celebrating the Marriage of Taylor Nance + Bryce Everett! This beautiful fall wedding incorporated a soft color palette with delicate blooms to create the most dreamy ceremony + reception. Keep reading to see more details of their big day!
Before they decided to tie the knot, Taylor and Bryce had been doing life together for a little over 6 years. The couple grew up in the same hometown. Not only was Bryce good friends with both of Taylor’s siblings, but he and his entire family were close to Taylor’s grand-dad through the church they attended. How in the world the two’s paths hadn’t crossed before six years ago is still shocking. As most modern day fairytales begin, Bryce asked to be Taylor’s friend on Facebook, and Taylor said, “like any girl with a big crush on some good looking guy, I obviously accepted (after properly vetting him by way of my sister of course!)”
From there the two started talking back and forth when Bryce made the move and invited Taylor to the “At the Movies” sermon series at LifeChurch. Of course Taylor gladly accepted the invite and gave Bryce her address so that he could come and pick her up (Taylor told us not to tell her dad that she passed out her address on the first time meeting). The two genuinely did have the best intentions of making it to the service, however they decided to grab dinner at Louie’s on the lake and became so immersed in conversation not only did they miss the service, but they didn't even eat! Since the first “date” didn’t go as planned, they opted to go see “The Dark Knight” instead. Since that moment, the two haven’t spent much time apart.
Both Taylor and Bryce agree that the past 6 years and has easily been the best 6 years of their lives and they can’t wait to spend forever together.
With the help of June Sixteenth Events, who the couple hired for month-of-wedding coordination and florals, Taylor and Bryce planned the most stunning fall wedding. The unique and delicate florals perfectly complemented the soft neutrals Taylor used in her color palette. This breathtaking classy bohemian look could not have been prettier on this crisp October day.
The scene looked like something straight out of a magazine, Everything was so picturesque. Taylor said:
Another very important someone who helped make this day so perfect was photographer + artist Kristina Gaines of Kristina Gaines Photogprahy. Every shot full of detail captured just how beautiful this day truly was. Taylor said:
Taylor was the most beautiful bride in her white lace wedding gown from David's Bridal. The open back and nude mesh was the most lovely combination. Taylor’s romantic wedding day look, complete with a beautiful braid, baby’s breath detail and a soft and sweet pout was perfectly crafted by hair and makeup artist, Kendra White.
When it was finally ceremony time, this precious couple could hardly contain their excitement.
Bryce + Taylor had the sweetest outdoor ceremony. They couple was married by their best friend, Sam, and said their vows underneath our famous “wedding tree.
The Bride and Groom both agree that their favorite memory is spending the day with the people they love most. Taylor said:
One big party is indeed what they had! A night full of family, food, and dancing was exactly what the Bride and Groom had hoped for.
They even had a very special treat for their guests - After lots of talking and planning, the couple got Stoney LaRue to perform on their special day. He announced the new Mr. and Mrs. and then serenaded them during their first dance. Taylor and Bryce laughed and said, “In 30 years our kids will hear his songs on the radio and remember that he played at mom & dad’s wedding. It was unbelievable.”
After having the night of their lives, Taylor and Bryce gave their love and waved their goodbyes as they ran to their get away car.
They were packed and ready to head off on their Honeymoon to the Key West!
Reminiscing on the perfect day, Taylor has these two pieces of advice to offer future brides:
1.) “Spend the money & hire a coordinator. You may think it’s too expensive and what is it that they do anyways? But I’m telling you – it is so worth it not having to worry about who to call, how much XX will cost, how many do we need, am I making the right decision, is this how it’s done or is someone taking advantage of my ignorance – you get the picture. I promise you that the coordination fee is worth what they are asking for it. If you don’t hire one and have the guts & time to spend handling all that stuff, you will end up spending what they were asking or even more on mistakes that you make just by being uninformed/uneducated on the event planning business. DO IT!”
and
2.) “Choose a venue that has the majority of the items you will need. By this I mean tables, chairs, linens, etc. Otherwise, renting all that nonsense will cost you a pretty penny & in the end…no one really cares if the table linens were posy pink or pastel peach. It’s also helpful when your venue has these things…because that’s one less thing you have to worry about coordinating to be dropped off and picked up at a certain time. Let BATW do it all for you! They even have some super cute rental items that can be used to cozy up your décor. Use it!”
Thank you for allowing us to host your special day! We wish you endless happiness and eternal love!
