Introduced through mutual friends, Jenni and Bucky knew they were “the ones” for each other after just a few short weeks of dating. A little over two years later, these love birds found themselves walking down the aisle to say yes to forever! Jenni + Bucky celebrated their big day with us on October 26, 2018. Their dreamy fall wedding was like something straight out of a magazine. We are beyond thrilled to feature their gorgeous day! Keep reading to see the magic come to life!
Jenni was the epitome of a blushing bride in her breathtaking Badgley Mischka gown from Bella Rose Bridal. Her elegant updo done by Rachel Hudson paired with a soft + glamorous wedding day glow done by makeup artist Sarah Oshman had Jenni looking as if she had just stepped off the runway. Her inner joy and excitement shined through her beaming smile, giving the sparkle of her statement earrings a run for their money.
What fun is being a bride without your girls by your side? This bunch of ladies looked absolutely beautiful in their David’s Bridal gowns.
The fellas also showed out in their well-tailored suits from Mens Warehouse.
The hues Jenni chose to use were absolutely stunning. Every small detail was the perfect compliment to the soft tones. Even the pop of fall oranges + greens couldn’t have been more lovely.
The warm sun, crisp October air and sounds of leaves falling made the most perfect ambiance for the bride + groom to say their vows.
Sticking to tradition, Jenni and Bucky made the decision to not see eachother until that special moment walking down the aisle. Jenni said, “Bucky was pretty adamant about not seeing me before I walked down the aisle, and honestly I felt the same. I wouldn't have changed a thing about not doing a first look - for us, it made that moment of walking down the aisle that much more special.”
Although walking down the aisle with her dad and dancing to the last song in the middle of a circle of family and friends were at the top of list of “favorite wedding day memory,” Jenni said kissing her husband for the first time as his wife definitely takes the cake!
After saying “I do” the crowd headed down to the barn to celebrate the new Mr. + Mrs. Buxton! This fun, upbeat reception was the perfect ending to the perfect day. Family and friends raised a toast and danced the night away in celebration.
Jenni’s best piece of advice to future brides is:
“There is no reason not to enjoy the day. It only happens once - SOAK IT IN! Be present in all that’s going on, in a blissful way, because it goes by fast! But it goes by less fast if you choose not to stress. Looking back on the day will be much more pleasant for you that way. And when people offer to help, LET THEM! Don’t be afraid to delegate or even ask for help if it isn’t offered…. people are more eager to help make your day perfect than you might think!”
